Here’s how you're gonna get ChatGPT and other AI tools to recommend your website:
Start with Perplexity.ai
Type in your topic and look at the follow-up questions it suggests.
These are the kinds of questions people are asking AI tools right now.
Write Clear, Helpful Answers
Answer those questions in your own words.
Keep each answer short, useful, and skimmable — 1–2 sentences max.
IMPORTANT: Copy those questions and answers onto a blog post or webpage on your actual site. Don’t leave them in Google Docs.
Generate Schema Markup
In ChatGPT, say: “Create FAQ schema markup in JSON-LD for the following questions and answers.”
Paste in your list.
Validate the Code
Go to Google’s Rich Results Test and paste the schema code to make sure it works.
Add the Schema to Your Site
Paste the schema code into your website’s custom code or header section.
Index Your Site
Submit your site to Google Search Console.
Optional: use Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow to get picked up faster.
Done!
Over time, AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude may start pulling your answers and recommending your site.
